Setting the difficulty level at the start of the game
The game commences. The grey diagonal step like things are the flippers. All the flippers move together.
The white '0' at the top of the screen just left of centre is the ball in play. Bonus points are scored for each block knocked out of the FLIPOUT title banner
Two balls down, two in reserve and one on play
Don't know how I did this, it may have been to do with getting balls through the blue gate-like area, but in this game balls just kept coming
This screen shot shows the flippers extended
The 'Three Amigos' bonus has been triggered. This is a form of multi-ball bonus and gives the player three balls to play with
The game keeps a high score table for each level of difficulty. This game was played on level 1
The layout of the play area does change slightly with an increase in the difficulty level
There is an in-game help screen
