After Days

After Days is a short adventure game which is based on the events that took place after the 2015 earthquake in Nepal, particularly focusing on the Shindhupalchok District which was one of the most severely damaged areas with more than 90% of its houses demolished and around 4000 people killed.

The game takes place during the earthquake. Roads, phone signals, and electricity are all broken and, within a week, the villagers are left without any food to survive. With the injured getting closer to death, Asha, a woman that connects coffee buyers with the local producers, can't ignore the situation and does everything she can to find a way to let her district’s situation be known to the outsiders and the rescue team, despite the danger of aftershocks.

The gameplay involves finding materials to construct stretchers, makeshift shelters, fix the communication system of the local tower, as well as carry the wounded villagers to their safety.
