Booty Blocks

Booty Blocks is a block-matching puzzle game with a pirate theme. In the tradition of Tetris, the screen consists of a single-screen area where blocks drop down from the top. The blocks are crates of different materials/colours (making it accessible for the colourblind) with the sea as a backdrop. Players direct the blocks down to stack them together. When five blocks or more of the same type connect in a group vertically or horizontally, they can be double tapped to make them disappear, making room for new ones. Matches are rewarded with booty in the form of coins that add to the score and combos are also possible.

Sometimes metal blocks drop down that only get in the way. Dynamite can be used to get rid of them, to blow up neighbouring crates, or they can be diffused for additional booty. There are three skill levels and all of them have the speed go up after time. Next to tapping, the device can also be tilted to fill in the gaps between the crates or create new gaps, sliding them from one side to the other. New players have access to tutorials to explain the mechanics.
