Breakspin

Breakspin is a Breakout variant. The spin of this version is that the player's two paddles (there is also an alternate option to use only one) move along a circle and the microbes, the game's stand-in for destructible blocks, are in the middle. The basic goal is to let a ball destroy all the microbes (by hitting them) and bouncing it between the paddles so it does not leave the circle.

Some of the microbes leave behind power-ups after being destroyed which give positive effects when collected with the paddles. Other microbes have special powers, e.g. some have the power to regenerate microbes around them and others shoot at the paddles (and each hit has devastating effects on the time limit). Biohazards are special abilities, e.g. the ball makes more damage within a specified field, which the player can activate at any time if enough energy is left (which fills up after finishing levels).

Besides the 48 regular levels, there is also a time attack mode with a special countdown which is extended with each microbe hit.
