There are three game modes. Freeride is really a sort of practice session

The player selection screen. This is common to all game modes. There are eight players to choose from but no character stats to distinguish between them

The craft selection screen. This is common to all game modes. There are four craft to choose from, this is the only stand up model

The location selection screen This is used in the Freeride and Extreme Trick game modes. In Championship mode the player(s) are told where to compete

In Extreme Trick mode the player selects the character, craft, location, and session time For a single player the game then provides the opponents and starts the single match contest

In Extreme Trick mode the player competes against their opponents repeatedly with just the best score counting

In Extreme Trick mode the player's score is shown at the end of each of their runs

When playing in Extreme Trick mode, as with the Freeride mode, when the game recognises a move it announces it on screen

The Rider Championship is a series of matches played at different locations The best three scores of each match are totalled to decide the match rankings
