Linux Spiele & Games
Description
This collection contains about 1,000 open source and freeware games for Linux, about 300 development libraries useful for game development and several common utilities and HOWTOs. Most of the programs are available as source code and have to be extracted and compiled before usage, a few games are also available as RPM packages.
The CDs' contents are browsable via a HTML page which splits the software into several categories; the category links refer to the corresponding location on CD, which can in turn be accessed through the browser's directory listing. Further information about the games (e.g. a game description or screenshots) is usually not available.
