The Humble Indie Bundle 8 is a compilation of up to 11 games from various developers, with each of them available for Linux, Mac, and Windows.

The bundle contains the following games: If more than the average was paid, the bundle would also include: After one week four additional games were added for those who had already bought the bundle or for new buyers paying above the average: In the tradition of the previous Humble Indie Bundles the games were sold using a pay-what-you-want model and the ability to freely split the amount between the developers of the games, the Electronic Frontier Foundation and Child's Play charities and the Humble Bundle organizers. All games were advertised as being DRM free, and like previous bundles also this bundle was available for two weeks only.

The Linux versions of Awesomenauts, Dear Esther, Thomas Was Alone, Capsized, Hotline Miami, English Country Tune, and Intrusion 2 had their debut in this bundle. Capsized and Intrusion 2 also had their Mac debuts in this bundle. Additionally keys for the Ubuntu Software Center and - when paying more than 1$ - Steam are available; moreover the soundtrack of all games except Hotline Miami is available in FLAC and MP3 format.
