Description official descriptions

Cinderella Girls is a social media/trading card game spin-off of THE iDOLM@STER series. Rather than the raising and rhythm gameplay of the main series, this game focuses on interacting with other players. Idols are available as cards. All idols from 765 Production are available, including Hibiki Ganaha and Takane Shijou. Later, in 2016, the three 876 Production idols from Dearly StarS were added. There are also many new idols and four Trainers, leading to a total of 203 characters, plus three more idols exclusive to the Korean version of the game.

The player assumes the role of a producer from 346 Production. Idols are represented by cards. Idols fall into one of three categories: Cute, Cool, or Passion. Each idol has several different cards. Each individual card has a rarity: Normal, Rare, and S Rare, and each rarity also has a plus version. Statistics also exist for each idol: attack, defense, cost, and affection rate.

There are several activities. Work is when the producer assigns an idol a job and they do it. Jobs earn the player in-game money and fans, as well as occasionally new idols and costumes, and may increase an idol's affection rate. Experience points can also be earned. Work uses up stamina, which replenishes over time or from items. In Live Battles, the player plays against another player. The leader of a unit goes against the other idol, and the winner is determined by fan count. In Live Concerts, the player plays against another player with an idol unit of up to five idols. This battle is determined by attack and defense statistics. Winning these battles earns the player rewards. Finally, there are Lessons and Special Training. Lessons are used to improve an idol's stats and level them up. Idols work with lesson partners, but the lesson partners will disappear. Special Training occurs when the player has more than one of an idol card, and combines those cards to make a plus card. The new card has different artwork and improved statistics.

Trivia

Korean version

In 2014, the game was launched for Android in South Korea, making it the first game from THE iDOLM@STER series to be released there. In celebration, three new idols were created and made exclusively available to the South Korean version: Haena Ryoo in the Cute category, Juney in the Cool category and Yujin Im in the Passion category. However, while Haena and Yujin are both from South Korea, Juney is from Seattle, Washington in the United States.

This version of the game was short-lived, however. DeNa Seoul ended service for the game on March 14, 2016, and the game disappeared from the Google Play store and Daum Mobage portal. As a result, Haena, Juney and Yujin are currently unavailable.

Also of note is that the South Korean version of the game is rated E for Everyone, as opposed to the Japanese version's T for Teen.
