Bombing and shooting the rockets, fuel tanks, etc. You will gain extra fuel if you hit the enemies' fuel tanks.

Level 2: Beware of the flying saucers. They need to be shot or dodged.

Level 3: Dodge the treacherous fireballs. That because they are immune to your weapons.
