Forest

Cracks are forming in the overlooked spaces of modern-day Shinjuku, exposing a parallel plane of existence known as 'the Forest' where the normal laws of reality do not apply. Five people with supernatural abilities must band together to solve the Forest's riddles, for if they fail, they will be banished from Shinjuku.

Forest is a heavily abstract adult fantasy visual novel. The plot is inspired by classic British fantasy works such as Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, and The Chronicles of Narnia. It blends an anime artstyle used to represent the characters with real photographs used to represent the setting of Shinjuku. As the protagonist, Akeru Kinosaki, the player must periodically make decisions that determine the outcome of the story. There are multiple achievable endings.
