Development history

Little Witching Mischiefs came about after Paul Reiche and Crystal Dynamics head Rob Dyer approached Bandai about getting the license to make a game based on SD Gundam, of which Reiche himself is a confessed fan. The Gundam game never happened, but they wound up with the rights to a number of old Toei magical girl anime instead, and Toys for Bob repurposed the Unholy War engine to make the game, which was only released in Japan.
