The Terminator: Dawn of Fate

aka: The Terminator: Un autre futur
Moby ID: 9481

PlayStation 2 version

Better then Terminator 3, But not as good as Terminator Redemption

The Good
The game is very good story wise. The game's story line is a prequel to the 1984 movie. The game has great weapons, great designs, and the character designs look very good. The terminators in this game are very detailed. The game is good, but it has some flaws I must point out. I love the song at the credits. Fear Factory-Terminate. Well, the game takes place all in the future, which is good. The 3 characters Perry,Reece, and Luna are very cool, and have their own part of the story. The weapons selection in this game are ok, but perhaps could have been improved.

The Bad
The flaws. 1.The camera in the game is broken, it follows the player, then switches to another stupid camera angle.

2.The control scheme varies with the camera angle. Making it very hard to navigate in levels.

3.The terminator explosions should have been worked on just a little more. Example: In the Infiltrator level, after you destroy the Terminator in its 2nd form, it explodes, and you can clearly see the Terminators' head fly off, but the Terminators' 3rd stage, it has its head.

4.Difficultly of the game is not easy, no matter what setting you have on.

5.Unlocking cheats are impossible.

6.Gets old in about a half hour. Those are pretty much it.

The Bottom Line
Its a good game, got some bad flaws, but good game overall, you'll just need to take some time to get used the controls and stupid camera angles.
