Arcade Sushi (2013)
Without a doubt, Orc Attack: Flatulent Rebellion has some aspects to it that stink, but that does not necessarily mean that we can't waft through it. For a debut title, Casual Brothers did many things right and took inspirations from the right group of titles. Aside from its silly, quirky, frenzied battlefield, there were quite a few third person action cliches which should have been changed in order to make the gameplay of Orc Attack feel more original. Nevertheless, for ten bucks, Orc Attack offers an excellent online multiplayer experience. Once you start leveling up your orc and acquiring different weapons, the similarities between the default orcs will start to fade and you may find yourself becoming quite attached to playing Orc Attack online. Despite its shortcomings (which are expected with debut titles), Flatulent Rebellion reminds us that farts are still funny and that it is good to be green.
PSN Stores (Nov 12, 2013)
I’m divided in my conclusion of Orc Attack: Flatulent Rebellion simply because when I played with friends locally and online, I had a good time. On the flip side, much of what we were laughing about was not necessarily how cool the cooperative attacks were more than us laughing about how terrible the camera was or how surprisingly difficult a screen full of NPC that don’t attack often can actually be. It’s a tedious and mindless hack’n slash that does harken back to a time when these types of games were the norm. For me, the Orcs just didn’t cut the mustard.
Darkstation (Oct 30, 2013)
For a $10 game Orc Attack is decent for the price. You get what you pay for in this case. Go in for a cheap game and you’ll get is a cheap game. It will hold you over for a few hours, maybe more if you have some friends you can bribe/guilt into joining you, but don’t expect to come back to it once you’re finished.
Push Square (Oct 20, 2013)
Orc Attack: Flatulent Rebellion is a bit of a stinker – but perhaps not in the way that the developer intended. There is some charm to be found in the quirky story, and some enjoyment to be discovered in the simple gameplay, but everything that the release does right is engulfed by a toxic cloud of performance issues. There's a decent game buried somewhere beneath the muck, but scrubbing it off will take monster-like determination.
GamingUnion.net (Nov 03, 2013)
Orc Attack: Flatulent Rebellion certainly carves a name for itself, but it's more due to the cheap laughs than anything else. The gameplay isn't all that inspiring and there are some weird design decisions in there too. However, should your friends all love toilet humour, this game does have some merits as a co-operative experience.
Diehard GameFan (Oct 21, 2013)
Orc Attack is not a good game. The bathroom humor falls flat almost immediately, although it never lets up. The gameplay mechanics are amateurish and mundane. While there are some decent ideas here, there isn’t a good structure for them to be fully developed. As such, I can’t really recommend this game. I mean, unless you REALLY love fart noises.
