Each scenario starts with a low res video sequence while the narrator sets the scene. This is from the 'Island Of Hope' scenario where a new rail network is needed to distribute food

After the video sequence and narration the scenario is summarised in text form together with the objectives,this is from the 'Island Of Hope' scenario

The game uses newspapers to notify the player of important events, this is shown at the start of the 'Energy For A New Future' scenario

The main view is isometric. There's a mini map in the lower left while the lower right defaults to the game's name but can show pictures and black & white videos
