Computer and Video Games (CVG) (Jun, 1984)
There are no less than 60 rooms in the castle, so it may be worthwhile taking a tip out of the adventure gamer's book and making a map. Andros is moved around the castle with a joystick or keys - and, if I were to fault this game on anything, it would be his jerky response to the controls. This really is nit-picking though because the overall impression of Tower of Evil is that it is one of the best games I have come across for the Vic 20.

This game is not quite as menacing as the title and insert make out. Despite that, it's pretty good fun. (...) Graphics are less than stunning, so is the sound, but action is swift and furious. Definitely worth a few loads.
