Puzzle fans who decide to pick up Rubik's Puzzle Galaxy: RUSH will be pleasantly surprised by the depth they find. While the Rubik's Cube simulator may not be perfect, RUSH takes the Rubik's Cube license and crafts an intelligent and fun puzzle game that is definitely worth the $6 asking price, if only for the sheer amount of quality modes in the download. Here's hoping that the next game in the Rubik's Puzzle Galaxy series is just as much fun.

Rush is a great start to the Rubik's Puzzle Galaxy series. It culls the best elements from last year's Rubik's World games and delivers them in a tighter package with a lot more core content. Puzzle enthusiasts should download this addictive, attractive and challenging WiiWare title.
Vandal Online (Dec 21, 2009)

Puzzle fans will definitely want to give Rubik's Puzzle Galaxy: Rush a download. Don't be scared off by the toy license -- you're right in being skeptical about a Rubik's Cube videogame, but the bulk of this package has nothing to do with the toy and is just a solid puzzler. Even the mode that does include the traditional Cube is impressive, including a tutorial that will finally explain how to solve it and online leaderboards for posting your best times. At $6, the puzzle of whether or not to download this one is easy to solve.

If you loved Toki Tori, you'll love this. If you loved Chu Chu Rocket!, you'll love this. At a mere 600 Nintendo Points with over 70 puzzles, you're getting quite the bargain. It may look simple on the surface, but some of the later puzzles are deceptively difficult, and will have you coming back again and again just to try out a new strategy (only to have you very likely fail again!). On top of that, this is just the first in a series of Rubik's cube-based WiiWare games. We look forward to more!

With simple graphics and musical soundtrack, Rush’s $6 price point is justified. The controls are quite solid too, but being able to zoom in and out could have been nice but isn’t totally necessary. While there is no multiplayer mode, the online leaderboards is a great way to show the world that you actually completed a Rubik’s Cube puzzle. With nearly 80 levels of increasing difficulty, Rush will promise to bend your brain for several hours.
