Patuman

Patuman is a shareware Pac-Man clone with a vaguely nightmarish aesthetic. It is controlled with the keyboard, using space to start the game and the cursor keys to move around.

You play the role of Patuman, a yellow-green face wearing sunglasses in a labyrinth full of small yellow pellets. In the center of the labyrinth is a zone where several monsters live. You cannot enter the monster zone, but the monsters can leave it, and chase you around the labyrinth. If they catch you, you will lose a life. If you lose all your lives, the game is over. As well as the smaller yellow pellets, there are a few big pellets that allow you to temporarily eat the monsters. The monsters are normally a color, like blue or cyan, but while you can eat them they all change to white. When you collect all the pellets in the labyrinth, you start a new level.

The game attempts to automatically detect the best speed to run at as it starts up. You can also adjust the speed using menu items in the application menu.
