Totemo

Totemo is a puzzle game about clearing levels by removing spirits to help a character restore his lost tribe. A level consists of a number of spirits in the middle of the screen and a totem in the bottom left corner. The totem can be built up out of two or three parts for instance. Spirits are removed from the field by binding them on the totem. For instance when a totem consists of two parts, two spirits can be bound and removed by selecting them when they are in the same row or column, with no other spirits between them, but gaps are allowed. Players have to think carefully how to remove spirits without ending up with stray ones. If some are left behind, the puzzle cannot be completed and has to be restarted.

The same applies when a totem consists of three parts. There are also stars that are more powerful and can bind two symbols on the totem at once. Spirits do not need to be matched according to their type, as long as the total value is correct and the matching rules are followed. Spirits that can be bound look at each other, helping the player with matches. The game's main mode consists of several environment split up in multiple levels. The survival mode is identical, but is time based. Levels need to be completed quickly before time runs out and remaining time is carried over to the next level. On mobile devices the puzzle can be restarted by shaking the device.
