This hazy dream sequence is very reminiscent of the movie Jacob's Ladder, which in turn was a huge influence on the Silent Hill series.

Will definitely come in handy. The game is full of DARKNESS, afterall.

You have a bit more freedom of movement in this game, not being a mere point and click like its predecessor.

As are creepy looking African statues.

The lantern is a nice touch, providing a few more ambient shadows and deepening the mood.

Also back is the 'thinking system', where you can find clues and have Howard 'think' about them.
