One of the girls in the game, Madoka Kasuga, is named in homage to the 1980s anime/manga series Kimagure Orange Road. A high school romantic comedy adored in Japan and in the US, KOR's principal characters were named Kyosuke Kasuga and Madoka Ayukawa. If Kyosuke and Madoka were to marry, Madoka's new name would be Madoka Kasuga. The Bunnies 2 character bears no resemblance to the anime character, except in name.
