Description
Eric Young's Squad Assault: West Front is a real-time strategy game allowing players to command troops in both the Allied and German armies on the Western Front of World War II. All major armies that fought in France in 1944 are in the game, including the American, German, British, Canadian and Free French. The game has a user-defined auto-pause feature for order entry and battlefield assessment. There is also a 2D overhead map available.

The Good
This is quite a game when you get into it. Everything is there for 1944-1945 for the American, British, Free french, German and Canadian Armies. It has a very easy to use scenario editor. The game play is stunning.
The Bad
Some of the voices were a little too much.
The Bottom Line
This is a great game for world War II wargamers that can keep up in the realtime environment. You must have the 1.6 patch to get the full enjoyment out of the game.
