This is the player id screen. Here the player's name can be changed and, as more cash becomes available, the gear can be upgraded

The start of a tutorial game<br>There's not much need for instruction but when there is it is shown in small windows like this. The player's boat is behind the window

The darker blue indicates deeper water<br>Using the mouse the right button casts the line and left button powers the boat

This is how the player knows they have hooked a fish

When a fish is hooked the red/white float, bottom centre, moves left and right. The player lands the fish by clicking the mouse button when it is in the centre

Getting a bite is no guarantee that it will be landed

When a fish is landed the player is informed what kind and how much it weighs

We've won a competition, that increases the cash available for tackle ugrades

Each lake, or in this case river, has a different challenge. When one challenge is completed another becomes available

This challenge is a timed race round a course. Here the player has just picked up a time bonus. Other bonuses include treasure chests which contain cash
