Game title screen - Ukrainian version (I wanted to play a game in a language I'm learning and still know much worse than English. Want to understand more? - play it yourselves. ;))
Chapter 1: Leah is on the platform, but her granny didn't go out to meet her...
Chapter 1: Grandmother's yard entrance - very much in style of East Slavic folklore and fairy-tales.
Chapter 1: Finally inside the cottage and saying hello. Granny has run out of tea, so the first chapter will be centered around gathering herbs to make some more.
Chapter 1: The old workshop. Leah will find an item here which her grandfather clearly wanted her to see, because he had given a key to his wife and asked her to give it to Leah...
Chapter 1: ...The item is now in the lower right corner: the grandfather's mysterious diary. Leah will make her own notes on blank pages.
Chapter 1: Corsak's "house" - getting inside is not so easy because he will turn out to be quite deaf...
Chapter 1: Inside Corsak's "house"
Chapter 1: The herbarium. Actually, as Leah will notice with some embarassment, she had already seen this book years earlier and made some doodles...
Chapter 1: Repairing the well
Chapter 1: Leah's dream. She will still get the wrong herb, a look-alike of the one she was supposed to find, become mildly poisoned and enter a strange dream...
Chapter 1: ...which is, actually, a premonition of things to come very soon, because in the dream her grandfather will keep asking her to find "the foxtail".
Chapter 1: Another herbarium which belongs to Corsak, with an entry on the Foxtail mushroom. More screenshots to come after an update...
Chapter 2: Leah arrives at the lake after her hike through the woods.
Chapter 2: Perhaps the ferry owner can at least tell her where to find the Foxtail?
Chapter 2: A creepy looking hut... Really, the ferry owner doesn't even need to say the word "witch", it looks just like that. But is it really a witch's hut?...
Chapter 2: Jack-o-lantern with a shining crystal (<i>der leuchtende Kristall</i>?...) as a light source.
Chapter 2: Wait a moment - is it so easy? There are Foxtail mushrooms in the woods, and yet Leah needs to cross the lake? Yup, the specimens found here are not mature yet...
Chapter 2: The ferry - at least Leah can enter it.
Chapter 2: Leah will find a book explaining flag signals... with the crucial page missing. Spoiler: the flag puzzle is guesswork/trial-and-error.
Chapter 2: The ferry deck, with the Captain's elegant underwear... Even more cute than a bad guy's polka-dot boxers in Sierra's "Ecoquest 2". ;)
Chapter 2: Leah has just found the location of captain's "pirate treasure" map.
Chapter 2: The captain just dove into the lake with a lovely rainbow splash.
Chapter 2: The Foxtails are not mature enough to be used as medicine, but at least they provide a better light source than the crystal.
Chapter 2: Leah tries her hand at chemistry. Spoiler: the laboratory in fact belongs to someone who made the place look like a witch's hut to keep intruders out. Someone already known to Leah...
Chapter 2: Spoiler: as Leah explores the basement laboratory, a tree will just fall and cut off her way. She has just found another way out.
Chapter 2: X marks the spot!
Chapter 2: An Alexandrian approach to complicated knots. Leah can't reach it with her penknife, can't get another sharp tool from the tree... so let's blow it up!
Chapter 2: The last spoiler: it didn't go EXACTLY as planned... but here we have Leah leaving for Chapter 3.
Chapter 3: Parting with the Captain from Chapter 2. In fact, the ferry doesn't have to "run off" at the end of this chapter - if you only DON'T lower the sails.
Chapter 3: The wandering troupe. Leah will get a lot of help from the sitting bird because she doesn't know much about music and he does.
Chapter 3: A very nice thing is that all music puzzles are solvable for tone-deaf people - through color clues. I'm grateful for that - I love music, but almost completely lack pitch...
Chapter 3: The mansion is locked, but the little hut in the background immediately catches the eye...
Chapter 3: Fun fact: this tarsier (I mistook him for a lemur) is named Vlad, just like the composer of game's music.
Chapter 3: Inside the mansion. While the owner, master Muninn, is dead, his former students (a cricket and a lemur ;)) will help Leah.
Chapter 3: The mausoleum in the garden.
Chapter 3: I just love screenshots with rippling and shimmering water.
Chapter 3: "Loom" reference! :D Sorry, Ukrainian version again - but you can play it for yourself in any version. ;)
Chapter 3: Close up on the kalimba, with contents ofthe safe in the background.
Chapter 3: A recording device (with rainbow elements too, just like the kalimba).
Chapter 3: The fortune teller says what will happen next and Leah doesn't fully believe because she expects to have everything sorted out soon... Spoiler: the end sounds very disturbing...
