The main menu screen
The Options link from the main menu is how the player customises the game's audio, video, and action keys
The game is largely action key driven with the mouse only used to scroll through weapons, zoom in on the sniper scope, and fire the weapon
There are many customisable fields under the Video option. However 1600 x 1200 is the maximum resolution supported.
There are only two skill levels to select
The start of the game spells out story-line while the game loads
The game starts here. The mini map rotates as the player changes position and direction. Very soon the player is given a brief tutorial ...
In the first few minutes the player is shown a couple of screens that look like this. They explain the basic controls and guide the player up to the point where the first enemy is spotted
The map tutorial screen
The sniper tutorial screen. This is shown when the first enemy is spotted and is the last tutorial
Approaching the first enemy camp.
Checking out the buildings, sniper zoom off
Checking out the buildings, sniper zoom on
Taking a weapon from a dead sentry
The newly acquired weapon is automatically deployed
Reloading. The yellow-is arrow shows there's someone in that direction who's shooting at me
A good head shot is rewarded with a scene of the bullet travelling to its target. There was vegetation present when this screen shot was taken but its not been captured in the screen shot
I'm being shot by someone who's out of sight and is probably behind me
Not all enemies are out in the open. Not all are easy targets. This guy shot me before I got a chance to shoot him
Game over
The Save / Load screen shows the number of slots and that there's a quick save function
