Description
Video Poker is a computerised version of the casino slot machine game. Like regular poker, the aim of the game is to make the best 5-card hand, but unlike other forms of poker, the player does not win money by having the best hand compared to other players. First, the player is given a random selection of 5 cards from a standard deck of 52, and must discard any deemed not helpful. These cards are then replaced by a random selection of new cards. Payouts are awarded based on how high the hand is ranked, from ace high to a royal flush. If the player hits a royal flush, he wins the jackpot that has been accumulating whilst playing. Features include customisable cards, and payoffs, game speed adjustment, a game save facility and double or nothing options.
