Its no fun exploring without a weapon. It's just another way to die very quickly

After a little exploring I get a weapon

It's during times of combat, which happen very quickly in this game, that the adventuring philosophy of experimenting until you find the correct command syntax becomes very wearing....

... and sometimes when the correct syntax is found the game becomes more of a test of accurate typing than one of adventuring.

Accurate typing is essential when attacked by multiple enemies

But sometimes even the best typists just aren't good enough.
