Erin Korus received her BA in English Literature from the University of Idaho in 1998. She then taught English 101 and 102 courses at the University. Through a friend, she was introduced to David Blevins of Blevins Enterprises, a contractor for Zipper Interactive. One thing leads to another, and she ended up working at Zipper with their small, friendly team. Production of SOCOM 1 lead right into production on SOCOM 2.

Throughout both titles, Erin maintained an active role in design, test direction, game text writing and various monkey work. In June 2003, she left the company to stay home with her new baby. She came back in 2006 and worked on Fireteam Bravo 2.

She then moved on to work at Amaze Entertainment in their Griptonite studio developing Spore Creatures DS. Also with Amaze, Erin worked on XMen Origins: Wolverine and The Princess and the Frog both for the Wii.

In 2008, Erin divorced and changed her name from Erin Korus to Erin Green. In 2009, she left Amaze to finish her Master's degree in English Literature, and wrote her thesis on video games.

In the fall of 2009, Erin began teaching English composition and video game studies at the Art Institute of Seattle and Lake Washington Technical College.
