Robert Shaw has worked in film, television and live events as a location & production assistant, production coordinator, assistant director, stage-hand/manager, producer, director and writer. He worked with Marlon Brando in the late 80s and was handpicked by Brando to assist in casting for "Jericho" a film written by and set to star the late Brando, Shaw has also worked with Al Pacino, Sir Anthony Hopkins and many more. As a stage manager Shaw walked hand-in-hand with Halle Berry as he led her backstage, swapped Austin Powers impersonations with Mike Myers, talked to Annette Bening about how she probably shouldn't take her drink onstage, and chatted to Steven Spielberg about his Bentley as they arrived for work at the Amblin Compound. Shaw was also a tester on SpongeBob Square Pants: Battle for Bikini Bottom. In 2010 he co-wrote the indie action/horror film Project x27, starring Danny Trejo, and wrote, produced and directed the short film "Bedbug" which can be seen on YouTube. Robert Shaw's first novel, The Scare, was adapted from a screenplay he wrote in homage to 80s/90s style horror films. Girlfriend Trouble, Thunder Rising and The Steel Prince also started as screenplays.
