Robert T. Bakker is an American paleontologist who has helped re-shape modern theories about dinosaurs. He has an energetic personality, dressing in cowboy/biker style. He was among the advisors for the film Jurassic Park and for the 1992 PBS series, The Dinosaurs. He has written several books, such as The Dinosaur Heresies and the novel Raptor Red, written from the point of view of a velociraptor.
For the Sega CD version of Jurassic Park, he helped the artists develop the dino animations, and even appeared in the game.
