Eric Peterson (July 30, 1961 – May 6, 2015) started his game development career at Activision in 1992. He started out with Windows versions of children's games using the MADE engine (Mediagenic Adventure Development Environment) and various other projects before working on Mechwarrior 2.
Peterson also worked on Interstate '76, MechWarrior 2: Ghost Bear's Legacy, Heavy Gear, and MechWarrior 2: Mercenaries.
