Alan Welsman

Alan Welsman graduated with honors from North East London Polytechnic with a BA in Business Studies and most recently served as head of entertainment at Orange where he was responsible for mobile music, games, and the film and video division within the Orange group of companies.

Prior to Orange, Alan was the marketing director at Speedy Tomato UK Ltd (a subsidiary of Telia AB), where he was charged with the launch and promotion of Telia AB's pan-European mobile wireless portal and mobile virtual network. Previously, Welsman was the Marketing Director at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe where he was responsible for the marketing and distribution of Sony PlayStation and PlayStation 2 throughout Europe.

On 24th October 2005, he joined InfoSpace as VP of European Product Management and Marketing. He is responsible for managing mobile media product and content strategy for the company's European markets.
