Dan uses his mix of writing, story development, and varied outdoor multimedia production techniques to create video games that have real-world applications. His games blend outdoor action adventure with learning about wild ecosystems and outdoor ethics.

His premiere game, Bowfishing Survival Gauntlet, was PC platform and took gamers on bowfishing adventures around the world. Besides mixing bowfishing competition in scores of environments and scenarios, Dan's game cast players in a deadly gauntlet of survival on the Amazon.

Dan was also development consultant on Mastiff Wii game Shimao's Extreme Fishing where anglers test their angling skills on big game fish from around the world. This fishing game added new dimensions of reality and action such as underwater spearfishing and bowfishing to the sometimes limited thrills of the popular fishing genre.

Rounding out his outdoor adventure consulting, Dan was lead consultant on Mastiff's Wii Remington's Great North American Bird Hunt. This fast action bird hunting game takes players across North America on a whirlwind quest for a vast array of ducks, geese, upland birds, and wild turkey. Like Dan's other consulting projects, this game blends learning skills, wild game identification, shooting skills, and hunting ethics.
