Stuart Fraser

Stuart Fraser studied Creative Visualisation at Teesside University, UK.

Originally a developer at Frontier Developments since 2003, and has developed five projects based on the award winning Roller coaster Tycoon series, published by Atari.

In September 2007 he completed work on a seventh title, with the role of Designer on Thrillville: Off the Rails a PS2/PSP/Xbox 360/PC & Wii title published by LucasArts. This was a follow up to the original Thrillville title released the previous year.

In October 2007 he has been working as a city designer on The Outsider which is no longer in development as of January 2011.

In early 2011 he worked on original IP's for Four Door Lemon, pitching to external publishers. This included a unreleased F2P simulation style game for PS Vita and Table Soccer an AR game for Vita.

In late 2011 he moved to Geomerics, a third party lighting solution for gaming, entertainment and architectural design. The technology is currently implemented into major games engines such as Frostbite, Unity 3d and Unreal.

In late 2016 he was appointed as a games development lecturer at a college. The course covered the broad skills of games development and the knowledge and experience of programming/scripting in UE4 and Unity.

In mid 2018 he moved back into games development, working at Virtual Arts Ltd which focused on VR/AR experiences. He worked as a content programmer using Unity and C# to create new prototypes for AR and to develop Lightstream Racer on iOS.

In early 2019 he moved back to Frontier and is currently the principal tester on Planet Coaster Console, he has also been involved in feedback for Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 Complete Edition on PC & Switch and Jurassic World Evolution 2.

In early 2021 he moved to Unit 2 Games as a developer and community manager; Unit 2 Games was then acquired by Facebook Gaming.
