Daniel Eric Henry's Biography

Daniel Eric Henry was born in surrey in the United Kingdom in 1980.

He was the youngest in a family of four children to Donald and Juanita Henry growing up in and around video games. Approaching games at a very young age, Daniel and a young elder brother David Henry persuaded their farther to buy them the latest video game console on the market, the Sega Master System, their very first console.

After much stress and annoyance their farther conceded and purchased the console on Christmas 1987. That is when Daniel fell in love with video games. After playing Double Dragon on the Sega Master System, Daniel looked in glee at the system's graphics capability and gasped at the sound quality of Sega’s ZX80 sound chip. That is when he knew what he wanted to do in life... pursue a career in the games industry.

Daniel grew up reading a lot and spending most of his pocket money on video games magazines (CVG, Games Master, Sega Magazine, Game Zone).

Adopting the youth culture at school he would often bring in cheat books to help fellow students that where stuck on certain stages of their games.

He would rush home after school to catch the latest episode of Games Master or Bad Influence on the television.

In 1997 Daniel finished studying at college (Engineering) and upon walking out the door of the classroom he asked himself "What do you want to do in life?" He reflected back to his childhood and said I want to get into the video games industry.
