Biography edit · view history

Karim Rehimi was born in Berlin and moved at the age of 6 with his family to Bremen where he still lives. For the last 4 years he worked as a 3D Artist. His first 3D application was 3ds Max 4. From there he never stopped making art. His passion for art began with graffiti and drawing cartoons. After that he wanted to become a graphic designer for print and non print graphics and layouts. But the university of art didn't offer him a seat in their classrooms. Gladly! Because then he started creating art in 3D.

Eventually he ended up in the game modding scene and worked on a lot of projects. Some modifications were for Battlefield 2 and others for Unreal Tournament. He also experimented in many fields of 3D art like character animation, rendering with Mental ray, vehicle design, architecture etc... After a while he got a job at a small, but at that time, very successful company called House of Tales Entertainment. Unfortunately HoT moved and he didn't move with them.

After some time he and his friend and colleague Sebastian Wessel founded their own graphic outsourcing company called "polygonfabrik GbR".
