Biography edit · view history
Mat Staltman has been working in the videogame industry for 6 years. After having received his B.A. in Art from the University of North Texas, and then his Associates in Animation from the Art Institute of Seattle, Mat started at Flying Lab Software (FLS) as a character rigger and animator.
It was there that he helped develop critical processes in support of character and animation pipelines while developing a suite of animation tools used by the FLS art team. As the Character and Animation Lead at FLS, Mat hand-animated thousands of humans, animals, and everything in between for the launch of the critically acclaimed Pirates of the Burning Sea, and provided tools and animation support for the massively multiplayer titles Bakugan Dimensions and Upper Deck University.
In 2010, Mat joined forces to form a small team that founded Bootsnake Games in Seattle, WA, where Mat currently works as an Artist.
