Richard Willams founded Animagination with Phil Grabmiller in 1993. After the publication of the game Backpacker: The Lost Florence Gold Mine in 1997, Williams focused on religious activities: “Richard Williams has been ministering in the office of a Teacher for many years, but back in 1998, God called him into the office of an Apostle” (quote from the defunct Animagination site).
In 2002 Williams published a book entitled “Receiving from God,” in which he wrote about the different types of motivational and manifestation gifts given by God. Meanwhile the original Animagination site had been turned into a religious site, maintained by Williams. It wasn’t updated any more after June 2004. Around 2005, Richard Williams lived in Montana and did multimedia work long distance for a firm in LA.
