Alan Wolfe is a self taught hobbyist game programmer turned professional after spending a couple of years as a business software developer. He has been a professional programmer since 2001 and has been a professional game programmer since 2006.
His first game development job was at InXile Entertainment in southern California working on the game Line Rider where he worked on the Wii and PC titles, as well as the DS. Besides doing regular programming, he also wrote the client and server side game to community website integration and content sharing.
After InXile Entertainment, Alan moved to Seattle to work at Surreal Software (owned by Midway Games) to work on the open world unreal engine game This is Vegas. He worked on the simulation team, spending most of his time on animation programming and traffic / citizen spawning.
A year later, Midway Games went bankrupt, was bought by Warner Bros Games, and Alan was transferred to work at Monolith Productions where he continues to work on animation programming, game and community website integration and general gameplay, engine and tools work.
