Biography edit · view history
Alister Lockhart was born on a far away planet called Scotland. His family emigrated to Australia when he was eight years old, where he found that drawing pictures of dragons n' spaceships (when he was supposed to be doing something else entirely) was to be the source of much consternation and annoyance to parents, teachers, lecturers and employers alike until, at the age of twenty-three, he left his fourth job: doing sign art in Newcastle, Australia.
Moving to Sydney, he did some freelance pics for SSG and was eventually offered the full-time position of art director. Having successfully matched his hobby to his job description, he moved in with the beautiful Sandra, bought a ridiculous old car that he swears at alot, and settled down to a life of occasional bliss and rich food. He later worked on the long-awaited Citizen Zero for Microforté (unpublished), then moved interstate to Melbourne to work for Tantalus- which he rather enjoys. Good people.
He enjoys swimming, cycling and referring to himself in the third person. He likes beer and prawns more than a mentally healthy man should, but there we are.
He currently lives in Fitzroy, Melbourne with his wife Sandra, and a black cat called Ajax.
Samples of Mr. Lockhart's artistic talents can be viewed on his online folio.
