Markus Pietrowsky (b. 16th November, 1970) completed his high school and then studied Art and Design. He initially worked as an illustrator and then switched to the DTP/Layout sector. He started in the games industry as Senior Artist at Davilex, then Senior Artist at Funatics, Art Director at Wings Simulations, a return to Funatics, and in April 2005 he joined Blue Byte as a Technical Graphic Designer.
In 2007 he is Lead Artist on The Settlers: Rise of an Empire.
