Raymond Joseph Teller was born on Valentine's Day, February 14, 1948 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, U.S. He has been an English and Latin teacher in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. His first partner in performing professionally was named Weir Chrisemer. Penn Jillette joined the act in 1974 and, later, Weir Chrisemer left, thus creating the duo on Penn & Teller, which has stayed that way ever since. Although he was born Raymond Joseph Teller, his current legal name if just the mononym Teller. He is listed as Raymond Joseph Teller in MobyGames because MobyGames does not work properly with mononyms.
