Kim BoYoung (김보영), born 1975, is a South Korean author and game designer best known for her work on role-playing games created by Garam & Baram. She joined the company as a 2D artist for Leithian (1999), but soon took over as the story writer for that game as well as Seal (2000) and Narsillion (2002). All the three games feature female protagonists and have recurrent social and philosophical ideas.
Kim BoYoung came to prominence as a science fiction writer with Tactile Experience / Experience of Touch (2002). She published numerous collections of sci-fi short stories and essays, including Evolving Myth, a story that takes place in the Korean Three Kingdoms period and combines historical facts with fantasy elements.
