Edwin Marten Kiser

Edwin's education history: - Grades 1 - 12 in Laurinburg, NC. 1941-1953.

• Catawba College in Salisbury, NC for two years, 1953-1955.

• Transferred to University of North Carolina (UNC) in Chapel Hill, NC, 1955-1957

• Bachelor of Science degree in Math. Stayed another year at UNC to complete the Master of Education degree in Aug 1958.

Other past experience: - 1958 - taught math in Myers Park High School in Charlotte, NC for 6 years.

• 1964 - worked as programmer employee of University of NC on a contract with US Air Force on a project called World War Three Simulator. (he considered it as awesome assignment.).

• 1966 Joined IBM as programmer at Research Triangle Park in NC for 9 years, transferred to IBM in Boca Raton Florida for 16 more years

• Programmer in the development of the IBM Personal Computer Operating System and other related Utilities.

Retired from IBM in 1991. After retirement taught Adult Education in evening school for several years on computer related topics.

As of 2019, residing in Kentucky.
