Simone Silvestroni was the team leader and sound designer for Ruff Trigger: The Vanocore Conspiracy from its inception in early 2000 until 2005, when he decided to leave Playstos.

He worked on adaptive soundtrack, sound effects, foley recording, audio implementation using the in-house engine MXE. For a year, he also worked with XACT for Xbox, before the platform was dropped in favour of the PlayStation 2.

He built the internal audio studio, where he managed three computers in sync. A Mac Pro run Logic Platinum for the soundtrack, the first Dell the sound effects and the audio editors, including SoundForge, and the last machine was the host for sound banks and libraries.

In 2002, he attended the Game Developers Conference in San Jose, CA and joined the Game Audio Network Guild as a Bronze Member on the day of its foundation.

His stack included Cubase VST 4, Logic Platinum 5, the Sonic Foundry suite (SoundForge, Vegas, Acid), Xbox XACT.
