Craig Thomler was involved in the development of the PlayNOW games website in Australia, serving as publisher and Editor during the creation and first eighteen months of the site's life.
He was also involved in the development and launch of Telstra's Wireplay online gaming service, developing online marketing and communications plans, managing the Wireplay community and developing Wireplay's weekly electronic newsletter.
In 1998 Craig became involved with the company developing Ancient Conquest and assisted them in elements of the game's design, community and website management. He then took on the role of joint lead game designer for Submarine Titans from Ellipse Studios, working closely with gaming communities to involve them in the game development process.
He was also responsible for developing the game's story arc and many of the ingame missions and contributely heavily to game manuals and ingame help.
After the commercial release of Submarine Titans, Craig largely stepped out of the gaming area but continues to maintain a close watch on the industry and has developed several game concepts for later development.
