Jane Belk Moncure is a children’s book author born on December 16, 1926 in the United States. Her Magic Castle Readers series was adapted into CD-ROMs by DiAmar Interactive in 1997 from three of her original picture books: A Colour Clown Comes to Town, Dragon in A Wagon, and Hop-Skip Jump-A-Roo Zoo. She died on July 30, 2013 in North Carolina due to a stroke.
