The Casio Loopy was a short-lived console, launched in Japan in October 1995 by Casio Computer Co., Ltd. The console was worked on by computer engineers Kunihiro Matsubara, and Tetsuya Hayashi, who implemented a 32-bit microcomputer, and a PCM sound source. The highlight of the console was its thermal printer used to print custom designed stickers, combining entertainment with creativity. However more popular consoles outsold the Casio Loopy, and its production ended on December 1998.
