Fishing Kings is a fishing game that lets the player fish in five locations over the world (Lake Erie, Bahamas, Amazon River, Waikato River, and Nahuel Huapi), featuring 3 different spots each one of them. The player starts with only a few places available, and can unlock new scenarios by catching fish, winning tournaments and challenges, also unlocking new equipment to catch bigger fish.

The game features a camera system similar to other major console fishing titles, with a 3rd person view from above the water, and an under water camera when reeling in, to see the behavior of the neighboring fish.

To cast, the player must swing the device as if it's a rod, and then he or she can reel in with the finger, and move around the lure with tilt movements. The player can slide the finger on the screen to rotate the camera to appreciate the under water life.
