Tryst is a real-time strategy game set in a sci-fi universe where two factions (Humans and Zali) battle it out on the surface of Ishtonia-V. The campaign puts the player in command of the Humans while they try to fight off a Zali invasion. The leaders of the Human faction are Oliver Petrovich and Aeryn Ozarr, adversaries who must now work together or lose everything they hold dear.

Next to the single-player campaign there is a multiplayer mode with both races available for selection. A distinct game feature is the A.R.M., a skill tree which allows players to upgrade/change the kind of armour and weapon their units wield into battle. The A.R.M also imbues units with unique abilities that they can use when the odds are against them to prevail. Multiplayer games are hectic and fast-paced.
