Abashera is a first person maze/platform game. Your mission is to find, and sometimes activate, the exit by solving different tasks. The maps are filled with very single minded creatures and much of the point of the game is to learn these creatures behaviors. Different dogs eat each other, frogs jump when you move in front of them, you can kill green dogs by falling on them, etc.

The game has no linearity at all, you do not need to solve one map before you move on to the next. Maps vary greatly in difficulty. Some maps have humorous themes, such as "Slaughter house" where you are supposed to lead a whole stable full of half blind purple giraffes into a meat grinder. The maps are built up by 20*20 squares and they can be 4 planes high. You can design your own maps in a separate level editor. There are a few stand-out features in this game: for example, if you look down you see your feet, and there is a function that lets you lean out over edges in order to look down.
